Unfortunately, the WatchTower feature is one of the benefits of Electron app development that has not yet fully materialized, with customers complaining the feature is unreliable, inconsistent, or unusable on certain devices. The Personal Plan also supports basic two-step login, secure text messaging, and automatic data health checks via its WatchTower feature. Instead, the lowest entry point is its Personal Plan which enables customers to access data stored in cloud vaults from any device with an Internet connection via a web app, desktop app, mobile app, or browser extension. Since the demise of the free iOS app, 1Password has not offered a free plan to customers.
